 THE STORY BEHIND

Out of every 1,000 coffee beans only 50 are peaberry.
This is a very limited lot of what we think is a delicious representation of Kenya potential.

Muthonjo is one of multiple small estates growing and processing its own coffee in the Central Province of Kenya. Located around 5 kilometers outside the town of Kiamutugu, the estate benefits from the fertile soils found in the slopes of Mount Kenya.

In addition to outstanding quality control, the estate advances mill works school fees for their education. This is a classic, big, Kenyan coffee: rich and thick-bodied, dark fruits and somewhat spicy. The Petite Syrah of coffee.
