 THE STORY BEHIND

"Cáscara" means "skin" in Spanish. From the Montaña Estate located in the heart of the volcanic region of Santa Ana in El Salvador, this infusion of coffee cherries is an amazing drink. With particularly sweet notes of honey and hibiscus, these dried cherries come from an organic coffee, which assures consumers the absence of pesticides on cherries. Furthermore, being produced over 1600m above sea level, cherries are larger and allow a better concentration of aromas when dried.

For a long time, La Montaña Estate has been one of the best farms in El Salvador, and has participated many times in the Cup of Excellence. It mainly produces Bourbon, Pacamara and Kenya varieties on a volcanic soil.
